Ott claims Wisconsin Amateur
Ott claimed the Wisconsin State Amateur in a dramatic, eight-hole playoff against Thomas Longbella to win the 117th edition of the event, which took place at the Minocqua Country Club in Minocqua, Wis.

“Probably the greatest ending to any tournament I’ve ever seen,” Bill Linneman, longtime director of rules and competitions for the Wisconsin State Golf Association, told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. “It was just unreal. They both made great shots at great times. They both missed opportunities to win at different times.”
