VU SEC Takeover set for July 30

July 26, 2018

Vanderbilt’s “Takeover” day on the SEC Network is set for Monday, July 30, with a full 24 hours dedicated to the Commodores.

The marathon of Vanderbilt programming begins at 12 a.m. ET Monday with a replay of last season’s men’s basketball win over TCU. It concludes at 11 p.m. ET with a special edition of “Fueling the Commodores: All Access,” featuring special unseen footage from Vanderbilt’s behind-the-scenes look at head coaches.

The Dores’ full schedule of programming is listed above. It features classic games from Vanderbilt men’s and women’s basketball, football and baseball, among other sports. A replay of the Commodores’ 2018 NCAA Bowling Championship win over McKendree is included, as well as Vanderbilt’s 2014 College World Series title win over Virginia.

For the fourth consecutive year, SEC Network is turning the keys over to the teams, as all 14 Southeastern Conference schools will schedule network programming for a two-week stretch this summer. Each school has exclusively programmed a full 24 hours on SEC Network with their picks of classic games, films, ESPN originals, school-produced content and more.

During the SEC Network Takeover, each of the 14 SEC member institutions has the opportunity to create an entire day filled with its greatest moments, iconic victories and university fanfare, including NCAA Championships, SEC Storied films, school PSAs and more.
