The initiative exceeded its goal of reaching 6,300 donors and more than doubled last year's contribution total of $2,625,644.
"What a tremendous response from the Vanderbilt community. I am so impressed with the support that our alumni and fans continue to give to our university. I would personally like to thank everyone who participated in the program this year; thanks to their efforts we are able to impact so many young lives on our campus," said David Williams II
, Vice Chancellor for Athletics & University Affairs and Athletics Director.
