NASHVILLE — Jovan Haye was a two-time captain and 2003 All-SEC performer at Vanderbilt who started 34 games on the defensive line from 2002-04. He finished his Vanderbilt career with 11 sacks among 149 total tackles. Haye was selected in the sixth round of the 2005 NFL Draft by Carolina and enjoyed a seven-year pro career that included stops at Carolina, Cleveland, Tampa Bay, Tennessee and Detroit.

Now Haye is a defensive quality control coach for the Commodores under head coach Derek Mason. This week Haye joined the Commodore Insider Podcast to discuss his new role on Vandy’s staff, memories of his VU career, how his NFL experience enhances his coaching and much more.
