Times, info set for Oklahoma State scrimmages

NASHVILLE – Vanderbilt and Oklahoma State will get underway at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 20 and 11 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 21 from Hawkins Field, head coach Tim Corbin announced Wednesday.
 
The two programs will play a pair of informal scrimmages which will include no official scoring and a scenario-based setup. Admission is free to spectators. 
 
The first 100 fans on Saturday will receive a Vanderbilt pint glass and the first 100 fans on Sunday will be provided a VandyBoys car flag.
 
Current Oklahoma State head coach Josh Holliday served as an assistant at Vandy under Corbin from 2010-12, helping the Dores reach the College World Series in 2011, before returning to his alma mater to take over the OSU program.
 
Vanderbilt begins fall training on Tuesday, returning to the diamond for the first time since hosting the NCAA Nashville Super Regional. VU trains Tuesday through Saturday until Nov. 8-10, which will conclude the fall with the annual Black and Gold World Series.
