Get to know: Grace Bell

Grace Bell comes into her senior season as one of the Vanderbilt’s returning goalies. She made eight starts in goal last season and recorded a career-high 10 saves against Georgetown. She has also excelled off the field having twice being named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll.

VUCommodores.com caught up with Bell to preview her senior season and much more.

Why did you choose Vanderbilt?
The team seemed very close, the coaches were great, and there were a lot of great academic opportunities.

What is your favorite Vanderbilt lacrosse memory?
It definitely had to be the Villanova win during the 2018 season.

What do you love about Nashville?
I love that I get a good campus feel but also have the second-best city in the country at my fingertips. The best, in my opinion, is New York of course.

What is a fun fact about yourself?
I have an eye condition called Duane’s Syndrome where my eyes can’t look out to the side, only in towards my nose.

What are your goals for the season?
I want to have the best season yet with my best friends, and enjoy every minute of my last year.
