  • This was head coach Bryce Drew’s first ever meeting against Tennessee.

  • Vanderbilt had five players score in double-figures for just the second time this season.
  • The Commodores dished out 11 assists Saturday night. It is their seventh straight and 16th game with 10 or more this season.
  • Vanderbilt finished 17-for-21 (81%) from the free throw line. The Commodores were second (76.8%) in the SEC in free throw percentage coming into the game.
  • The Commodores turned the ball over nine times against the Volunteers. It is the second consecutive and third time this season the ‘Dores have had fewer than 10 turnovers in a game.

Player Notes:

  • Nolan Cressler hit two free throws early in the first half reach over 1,000 points for his career. He finished with 10 points, which tied a season high.
  • Matthew Fisher-Davis scored in double-figures for the 14th time this season after putting up 12 points against Tennessee.
  • Joe Toye was one of the five Commodores to score in double digits. He scored 10 points, which tied a career high.
  • Luke Kornet led the Commodores in scoring with 18 against Tennessee. It is his eighth game this season with 15 or more points.
