Game Notes:
– With the 72-67 loss, the Commodores fall to 6-3 overall.
– VU now leads the series against Dayton, 4-1.
– Kevin Stallings is now 3-1 against the Flyers.
– At the half, Vanderbilt led Dayton 40-32.
– The score was tied twice, with the lead changing four times. Dayton’s largest lead was seven (2nd – 10:15), Vanderbilt’s 16 (1st-3:02).

– Vanderbilt Starters; Wade Baldwin IV (4), Matthew Fisher-Davis (5), Jeff Roberson (11), Riley LaChance (13) and Damian Jones (30). It marked the first time this season Vanderbilt has used that starting lineup.
– Four Commodores had double-digit performances; Baldwin IV (18), Jones (18), Fisher-Davis (11) and LaChance (11).

Individual Notes:
Damian Jones led the Dores heading into the locker room with 12 points and ended the game with a season-high 18 points, his 55th career game scoring double digits, and a season-high seven field goals made.
Nolan Cressler established a season-high five rebounds.
– Fisher-Davis had a career-high six rebounds, and a season-high three blocks. He also scored 11 points.
– Baldwin IV missed only one shot from the charity stripe, hitting a season-high ten free throws on a season-high 11 attempts.
– Baldwin IV tied his career-high in FG attempts, with 12 attempted.
– LaChance scored in double figures (11 points) for the fourth time this season and 28th time of his career.
– Freshman Joe Toye played a career-high 12 minutes.
