Hofmann shoots 2nd-round 69 at Schenkel

STATESBORO, Ga. – Vanderbilt junior Adam Hofmann shot a second-round 69 to lead Vanderbilt on the second day of the Schenkel Invitational in Statesboro, Ga., and is in a tie for 32nd with teammate Trey DelGreco with a total of 145. Vanderbilt is in 12th place as a team with a total of 589 (302-287).

DelGreco fired a second-round 71 for the Commodores at the Schenkel. Vanderbilt also counted a 73 from senior Ryan Haselden and a 74 from junior Charlie Grace.

Auburn continues to pace the field at 554 (279-275, -22) at the tournament, six strokes better than the University of Florida. The Gators’ Bank Vongvanij leads all individuals with a 10-under par, 134 (66-68). Auburn’s Niclas Carlsson is in second place with an eight-under par, 136.
