Vanderbilt golf wraps up day two at Mason Rudolph Championships

FRANKLIN, Tenn. – The Vanderbilt men’s golf team sits in fifth place with a three-over par, 571 after day two at the Mason Rudolph Championships Saturday. The women finished the day at the Vanderbilt Legends Club in ninth place with a three-under par, 574

Lauren Stratton shot a team-low three-under par, 69 to move her into a tie for tenth place and now has a combined score of 141. Adam Hoffmann (T-8) and Ryan Haselden (T-17) led the men’s team with a one-under par, 70 while Charlie Grace is the overall team-leader with a three-under par, 139 after shooting a 71.

LSU leads the women’s tournament with a 16-under par, 560 and tied Purdue for the low score of the day with a six-under par, 282. Memphis is the men’s tournament leader after the day with a ten-under par, 558 while South Carolina had the daily low score with a five-under par, 279.

Michelle Shin from Wake Forest and Pia Halbig from California are tied for first with a nine-under par, 135 while Jack Belote from Memphis is leading the men’s tournament with a seven-under par, 135.
