Quotes
Head Coach Tom Shaw

-“Today wasn’t bad. We’re ahead of some good teams, but we have two days to go. This is a very demanding course. The first nine holes are tougher than the back nine…we had a good start on our front nine, which was the back since we teed off on number 10, but we had some stumbles on holes one through nine after we made the turn, as did some other teams.”

-“We played with Alabama and Stanford, so they got a feel for where they stack up against those guys. It’s good to play with those teams…they are some of the best in the country.”

Note

Tiger Woods, who lives at Isleworth, followed the Commodores for a few holes today, since Vanderbilt was playing with Woods’ alma mater, Stanford.
