MG in sixth at The Prestige

LA QUINTA, Calif. – Senior Ryan Haselden shot a team-leading three-under par, 69 in the second round of The Prestige at PGA West in Laquinta, Calif., and paced Vanderbilt to an eighth place finish after two rounds with a team total of 592 (301-291).

Haselden and the Commodores are one stroke ahead of Oregon, UCF, and UC Davis, who are in a tie for seventh. In the individual standings, Haselden is in a tie for sixth.

The Commodores counted Haselden’s 69, Trey DelGreco’s 73, Adam Hofmann’s 73, and Will Snipes/Charlie Grace’s 76 on Monday.

California and Stanford are in a tie for the lead with a one-under par, 575. Individually, Charlie Hughes of Washington leads all golfers with an nine-under par total of 136 after firing a 66 on Monday. He leads Cameron Wilson of Stanford by two strokes.
