VANDERBILT

*Vanderbilt improves its SEC Tournament all-time record to 30-22 in 14 appearances at the SEC Tournament.

*It marked the second consecutive season that the No. 8 seed advanced to the finals of the SEC Tournament (Ole Miss, 2008)

*With Curt Casali’s fourth-inning home run, Vanderbilt now has four home runs in the SEC Tournament, tying it with Florida for the most home runs hit in this year’s SEC Tournament. Vanderbilt was 12th in the SEC in home runs during the regular season.

*Jonathan White stole his 16th base of the season Saturday. White is second on the team in stolen bases and now has 33 stolen bases in his career.

*Vanderbilt’s Brian Harris two-run double in the fourth inning was his 20th double of the season. Harris is tied with Steven Liddle for the team lead in doubles and they are tied for second in the SEC in doubles.

*Casali posted his 22nd multi-hit game of the season.

*Vanderbilt’s Caleb Cotham notched the second SEC Tournament win of his career. Cotham’s seven-inning performance was his longest outing since April 11 when he threw 7.0 innings at Arkansas. Cotham improved to 2-0 against Arkansas this season. In his two starts against Arkansas this season, Cotham has 19 strikeouts in 14 innings of work.

ARKANSAS

*Arkansas is now 20-25 in the SEC Tournament

*Arkansas now leads the all-time series with Vanderbilt 24-17.

*Arkansas is 7-12 in elimination games at the SEC Tournament. Their last victory in an elimination game before today came against Tennessee during the 2004 SEC Tournament.

*Arkansas is now 1-5 in elimination games under current head coach Dave Van Horn.

*Arkansas’ Bo Bigham extended his hit streak to four games, giving him a hit in every game of the SEC Tournament.

*Razorbacks catcher James McCann recorded his fifth double of the 2009 season.
