WG Tied for 10th at Stanford Intercollegiate

STANFORD, Calif. – The Vanderbilt women’s golf team is in a tie for 10th place with host Stanford after two rounds of the Stanford Intercollegiate. The Commodores fired a second-round 307 and currently have a total of 614 (307-307) heading into the final round of the tournament on Sunday.

Senior Liebelei Lawrence is in the clubhouse after the first two rounds with the Commodores’ best score with a 151 (75-76), which has her tied for 34th. Freshman Megan Grehan posted Vanderbilt’s best score of the day on Saturday with a 74 and is currently in a tie for 38th with a total of 152 (78-74). Jacqui Concolino is in a tie for 44th with a 154 (75-79), Brooke Goodwin is in 55th place with a 157 (79-78), and Amber Lundskog ended her day with a total of 171 (83-88), which has her in 90th place.

Duke leads the Stanford Intercollegiate with a two-round score of 574 (282-292), 12 strokes better than second-place Arizona State, which sits at 586 (293-293). UCLA is in third place with a 587 (291-296).

Individually, Amanda Blumenherst of Duke leads the tournament with a three-under par, 139 (66-73). Blumenherst is two strokes better than Stacy Lewis of Arkansas, who posted a two-round score of 141 (69-72).

The final round of the Stanford Intercollegiate concludes on Sunday.
