Bobby Reynolds Takes RCA Doubles Title

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — Former Commodore Bobby Reynolds and tennis great Andy Roddick downed Jeff Coetzee and Dominik Hrbaty 6-4, 6-4 to take the RCA Doubles Championship on Sunday. The win is Reynolds’ best finish in the U.S. Open series.

Reynolds lettered with Vanderbilt from 2000-2003, where he became Vanderbilt’s first two-time men’s tennis All-American. He finished his college career at No. 1 on the ITA charts and still holds three career records with Vanderbilt, including Most Singles Wins, Best Singles Winning Percentage, and Most Doubles Wins by a Team (with partner Eddie Coates).
