Charleston native joins the Dores

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Joining the Commodores from Charleston, South Carolina, Vanderbilt women’s tennis welcomes new freshman Anna Ross.

Ross earned an illustrious high school and juniors career notching many titles. In 2018, Ross was named the South Carolina Player of the Year while also earning the Silver Ball a title at the 2018 Winter Nationals Girls 18s.

With multiple collegiate offers on the table, Ross decided to attend Vanderbilt due to its great balance between athletics and academics while also feeling the best connection with the team and coaches at Vanderbilt.

Commanding a strong collegiate debut, Ross has collected four singles victories so far in the fall season. Ross will be back in action joining the team in Murfreesboro to compete in the ITA Ohio Valley Regionals.
