New Mobile App Released

Vanderbilt Athletics, WMT Digital, team to create new app ahead of 2022-23 season

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Vanderbilt Athletics, in conjunction with WMT Digital, has unveiled its new mobile app ahead of the 2022-23 athletics season.

Vanderbilt Athletics’ responsive website, VUCommodores.com, is now coupled with a mobile-friendly platform to boost fan engagement and provide an accessible and appealing medium for Commodore Nation. The app features breaking news, live audio and game radio broadcasts, box scores, event recaps, videos and full schedules for all 16 of Vanderbilt’s varsity programs — all geared towards a mobile-first experience.

Season ticket holders can now access their mobile tickets through the app. In addition to accessing mobile ticketing options, all fans using the app will have access to a number of other features — such as food and concession ordering — to enhance their game day atmosphere.

The app will roll out more features in the coming months, many of which are designed to further personalize users’ experience.

“We’re grateful to athletic director Candice Lee and her team for these continued opportunities,” WMT founder and CEO Andres Focil said. “Since the outset in 2019, Vanderbilt has seen significant growth and success. At the same time, they have bold and visionary goals for their athletic department and we will work tirelessly to help them achieve those benchmarks.”

The mobile app can be found on iTunes or in the Google Play store by searching “Vanderbilt Athletics.” Current iPhone users will need to install an update to experience the new app. Some phone users may require uninstalling and then reinstalling the previous app. Android users are able to update the app on their phone.
