Nesmith Joins SEC Network Broadcast

Vandy sophomore discusses Commodore basketball

 

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Vanderbilt sophomore Aaron Nesmith joined the SEC Network telecast Wednesday during the Commodores’ contest against visiting Alabama at Memorial Gymnasium.

Nesmith spoke with Roy Philpott and Mark Wise to discuss his Vandy career this far, how he is coping with a foot injury and first-year Vanderbilt coach Jerry Stackhouse. A 6-foot-6, 213-pound guard, Nesmith was scoring 23 points per game, shooting 51.2 percent from the field and 52.2 percent from 3 and connecting on 4.3 long-range shots per contest in 14 games.

The Commodores (8-10, 0-5 SEC) travel to Nesmith’s home state of South Carolina this weekend for a 7 p.m. CT game Saturday against South Carolina.
