NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Vanderbilt men’s tennis team will host Middle Tennessee on Friday at the Currey Tennis Center.
Vanderbilt enters Friday’s matchup after going 1-1 last weekend in the ITA Kick-Off.
In the opening match, the Commodores fell short to Florida State 4-2. In the consolation championship, the Dores downed Indiana 4-2 with junior George Harwell clinching the match for the Commodores.
Harwell leads the Dores in singles play with an undefeated record in dual matches. The junior currently holds a six-match winning streak.
Vanderbilt now sports a 3-1 record and is undefeated at home.
Middle Tennessee will travel to Nashville boasting a 6-0 record with senior Tom Moonen leading the Raiders in singles.
In the last meeting between the two teams, the Dores outlasted the Blue Raiders 5-2 in Murfreesboro.
Admission to Friday’s match is free and parking is available in the 25th avenue garage.
