Razorbacks Up Next for Dores

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – No. 28 Vanderbilt men’s tennis hits the road to take on its fifth SEC opponent, Arkansas, on Thursday at the Billingsley Tennis Center.
 
Last weekend the Commodores went 1-1 in their second week of conference matches, defeating Auburn 6-1 on Friday followed by a 5-2 loss to No. 17 Alabama, snapping an eight-match home winning streak.
 
Notable Commodores standouts freshman Macsen Sisam and Billy Rowe went undefeated in singles play against Auburn and Alabama, advancing both of their conference records to 3-1.
 
In the last matchup between the Dores and the Razorbacks, Vanderbilt topped Arkansas 6-1 at the Vanderbilt Currey Tennis Center.
 
No. 32 Arkansas currently holds a 10-6 record, including a 9-3 home record.
 
The Razorbacks are 1-1 in SEC play and currently ride a two-match losing streak, fresh off a loss to Baylor, 6-1.
 
Thursday’s match begins at 6 p.m. and admission to the Billingsley Tennis Center is free.
