Commodores Entertain SEC Opponents

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Vanderbilt men’s tennis hosts SEC opponents Auburn and Alabama this Friday and Sunday at the Vanderbilt Currey Tennis Center for the Comodores’ first home SEC matchups of the season.
 
Sporting an 11-3 record, No. 26 Vanderbilt remains undefeated at home and is 1-1 in conference play after falling to Mississippi State last weekend, 7-0. The Commodores bounced back Sunday in taking on Ole Miss, clinching the match over the Rebels, 4-3. 
 
On Friday, Vanderbilt faces an 11-8 Auburn team at 4 p.m. CT. The Tigers are currently 0-2 in the SEC and 0-1 on the road.
 
In last season’s matchup against the Tigers, the Commodores won, 4-2.
 
Sunday at noon, the Dores challenge Alabama. The Crimson Tide currently boasts an 11-3 record with a 3-4 loss to LSU marking their lone SEC loss. The Tide are currently undefeated on the road.
 
Sunday’s match will mark the 65th meeting between the Dores and the Tide, with Alabama leading the overall series, 38-26.
