NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Vanderbilt senior Will Gordon was named the SEC Golfer of the Week for his individual win last weekend at the Gator Invitational in Gainesville, Florida, his second consecutive individual victory after claiming the fall finale at the Tavistock Collegiate.
Gordon carded a 7-under-par 203 (70-63-79) to win medalist honors by one shot this past Saturday and Sunday at the Mark Bostick Golf Course. The senior from Davidson, North Carolina, now has four individual tournament titles in his career and is averaging 69.13 strokes per round in 2018-19.
The Commodores return to the course March 3-5 at the Querencia Cabo Intercollegiate in Los Cabos, Mexico.
