Infante Gives Back

Senior named to SEC Community Service Team

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Vanderbilt first baseman Julian Infante has been named to the SEC’s Community Service Team, which highlights one student-athlete from each school who give back, the league office announced Wednesday.

The senior, who received his degree in economics last Friday, logged the most hours on the team with 23.5 hours.

The Miami, Florida, native worked with the Harris Hillman School as a school aid and read to students at Waverly Belmont Elementary. Infante also assisted with the Buena Vista holiday party and served as a helper with the school’s trick-or-treat event.
