For the second straight year, Vanderbilt football is excited to invite all its former student-athletes back to Nashville on fall Saturdays.
The Commodores will host the Vanderbilt football alumni tailgate, an exclusive pregame destination for Vanderbilt football alumni starting two hours prior to the start of each home game.
The first tailgate of the season takes place in the season opener this Saturday. The Georgia tailgate begins at 4:30 p.m. CT.
“We are looking forward to welcoming former Commodores back to campus through these tailgates. They are a vital piece of the Vanderbilt football family,” said Vanderbilt head coach Derek Mason. “Our alumni tailgate is an opportunity to engage with alumni in an exclusive area created just for former Commodore football players, their family and friends. I hope to see a large crowd for the Georgia game and on Saturdays through the fall.”
The Vanderbilt football alumni tailgate originates on the lawn adjacent to the football tunnel of Vanderbilt Stadium, just along Jess Neely Drive next to Gate 2. A tented area provides catered food, drinks, and giveaways to those in attendance, as well as televisions to keep up with the day’s live college football action.
Vanderbilt football alumni receive free admission to the tailgate, while prices for guests of football alumni follow:
• Adults – $20 (preregistered), $25 (at the door)
• Ages 6-20 – $10 (preregistered), $15 (at the door)
• Youth ages 5 and under – free
