Commodore Coach’s Show this Wednesday

Commodore fans are invited to join head coach Derek Mason and long-time play-by-play announcer Joe Fisher this Wednesday evening at the Vanderbilt Coach’s Show.

The one-hour show, which airs each Wednesday prior to a Commodore football game, starts at 7 p.m. CT at the Commodore Grille located in the Holiday Inn Vanderbilt on West End.

Fans can join Mason and Fisher for the live show, which airs on Commodore flagship WLAC 1510-AM and vucommodores.com. It is also available on the Vanderbilt Athletics GameDay App via TuneIn.

“It’s always a fun time to get together with Joe and our fans to talk Vanderbilt football,” Mason said. “I look forward to seeing a lot of friends and fans this Wednesday as we kick off another season of college football on West End.”

The show will feature questions from Commodore followers and an in-depth look at how Mason’s squad is preparing for the season opener this Saturday in Vanderbilt Stadium against Middle Tennessee.

Kickoff for the VU-Middle Tennessee opener is 6:30 p.m. Tickets ($25 each) are available online here, by phone at (615) 322-GOLD or at the Vanderbilt Athletics Box Office during regular business hours at 2601 Jess Neely Drive.

The Commodores are off the field Monday, then will return to practice on Tuesday as they continue to gear up for the opener.
