  • The last time the Commodores made it to the second round of the WNIT postseason tournament was back in 1984, when Vanderbilt won three games.
  • The Commodores are now just one of two SEC schools remaining in the WNIT, with Alabama continuing on in the second round.
  • All three Tennessee schools in Tennessee Tech, Middle Tennessee, and Vanderbilt have advanced to the second round.
  • Last week’s victory over Murray State was Vandy’s first postseason victory since the 2014-15 season.
  • Jordyn Cambridge scored a career-high 24 points against the Racers in addition to a career-high in 3-pointers made with five.
  • Cambridge now has 122 steals, the second-most in a single Vanderbilt season, Deborah Denton is first with 123.

  • Shea Ralph (15) is tied with Joe Pepper for the second-most wins in a inaugural coaching season at Vanderbilt. Jim Foster and Melanie Balcomb each won 22 in their respective first campaigns.
  • Vanderbilt is nationally ranked ninth in steals, 17th in steals per game, and 25th in turnovers forced amongst Division I Women’s Basketball teams.
  • Liberty advanced to the ASUN Championship game but fell to top-seeded Jacksonville State, 57-59.
  • The Flames bested the Fighting Camels of Campbell in the opening round of the WNIT, 50-44, for its first-ever postseason victory.
  • This will be Vanderbilt’s eighth time facing Murray State as the Commodores hold a one-game edge in the all-time series history only falling once to the Racers inside Memorial Gymnasium.
  • Liberty is 0-2 all-time against Vanderbilt and 1-18 versus SEC opponents. The Lady Flames have lost 17 straight meetings with SEC foes since an 80-76 win at Kentucky on Dec. 12, 1998.
  • Mya Berkman was named ASUN Scholar-Athlete of the Year and First Team All-Conference. The Lady Flames’ leading scorer and rebounder, she ranks No. 3 nationally in field goal percentage (66.7).
  • Bridgette Rettstatt joined Berkman on the First Team All-Conference roster. She led all players in points (16) and rebounds (12) against Campbell on Wednesday, recording double-digit rebounds for the fifth straight game. No Lady Flame has done so in six straight contests since Avery Warley (Jan. 23-Feb. 11, 2012).
