NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Vanderbilt men’s and women’s cross country teams each received All-Academic distinction awards from the USTFCCCA.

Vanderbilt’s women posted a 3.53 grade-point average while the men earned a 3.50 GPA.

“Our cross country teams have always done very well in the classroom,” stated head coach Steven Keith. “We are very proud of their efforts.”

To earn the award, teams have to have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale and must start at least five runners at an NCAA Division I Regional cross country meet during the most recent season. There were 427 teams that earned the distinction.
