NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Earning its place in a 26th consecutive NCAA Tournament on Monday, No. 27 Vanderbilt will head to the Columbus, Ohio, regional of the tournament and open its tournament run against Ball State.
The Commodores and Cardinals will take the court Friday on the campus of Big Ten tournament champion Ohio State. Match time is set for 10 a.m. CT.

With a win, Vanderbilt would move on to face the winner of 15th-seeded and 16th-ranked Ohio State against UIC on Saturday at 11 a.m. CT. The winner of each site advances to the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Florida, where the remaining 16 teams will compete for the national championship May 16-28. Reaching the tournament marks the first trip to the Big Dance for first-year head coach Aleke Tsoubanos as the program’s leader. Tsoubanos was an assistant coach with the program for its national title in 2015, runner-up finish in 2018, Final Four appearances in 2016 and 2017 and an Elite Eight run in 2019.
