Vanderbilt director of golf operations Margaret Stahm joined the Commodore golf programs in the fall of 2019. The 2020-21 season is her second on West End.
Stahm came to the Commodores after a stint with the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) in Daytona Beach, Florida, where she worked with the Bank of Hope Founders Cup and then the LPGA Tournament Business Affairs office.
Stahm, a four-year letter winner with the Arizona State softball team, is a two-time graduate of Arizona State. She earned her bachelor of science in management in 2017 and then her master’s of sports law and business in 2019, where she earned dean’s list honors for both degrees. While with the Sun Devils, she was named Pac-12 All-Academic first team in 2017 and a Pac-12 All-Academic second team choice in 2016. She was also named the Sun Devil Scholar Athlete of the Year and earned the Richard Berger Exceptional Community Service Award in 2017.
Stahm’s duties with the Commodores include tournament management, travel management, equipment, event management, managing recruiting events and donor events, facility management, as well as team and student-athlete management.
