Bowling Releases Schedule

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Vanderbilt head coach John Williamson has announced the 2019-20 Vanderbilt bowling schedule.

The 2018-19 national runner-up squad will begin the season Oct. 18-20 at Tulane in New Orleans.

Vanderbilt will return to Stephen F. Austin’s Ladyjack Invitational (Nov. 15-17) for the sixth season in a row. Last season, the Commodores claimed the tournament title after taking down the No. 1 McKendree.

The Commodores will then head to Millsboro, Delaware, to cap the 2019 portion of the schedule at the Maryland Eastern Shore Tournament (Nov. 22-24). Vanderbilt will return to this event as the reigning victors, taking down 16 other teams last season.

The 2020 portion of the schedule will open up with back-to-back tournaments at the Mount St. Mary’s Tournament (Jan. 10-12) in Las Vegas, and the Kutztown Tournament (Jan. 17-19) in Reading, Pennsylvania.

Vanderbilt then returns to the Prairie View Tournament (Jan. 31-Feb. 2) in Arlington, Texas.

The Commodores close out the road portion of the regular season with a pair of tournaments that Vanderbilt claimed last season — Arkansas State’s tournament (Feb. 14-16) and an event hosted by Monmouth (Feb. 28-March 1).

Vanderbilt will host its annual tournament March 6-8 in Smyrna to cap the regular-season.

The Southland Conference Tournament will take place March 20-22. The NCAA Championship will take place April 9-11 in Detroit.
