Black and Gold Weekend Set for April 15-17

Spring football, baseball, lacrosse, tennis, Vandyville and a surplus sale ahead

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Vanderbilt Athletics department will host Black and Gold Weekend on April 15-17 with multiple games and festivities set to take place on campus.

Action will commence at 1 p.m. April 15 with women’s tennis facing Mississippi State and Bellarmine (5 p.m.), while the baseball team opens a three-game set with Florida at 6 p.m.

Saturday kicks off at 10 a.m. with a surplus sale open to National Commodore Club members before opening to the general public by 11 a.m. Vandyville will open in the McGugin Center parking lot at 10:30 a.m. before lacrosse faces Florida in a conference game at 11:30 a.m.

The football team’s Black and Gold Spring Game will begin at 1 p.m. in Vanderbilt Stadium and baseball concludes the day at 6 p.m. with Game 2 versus the Gators. Vandyville will close at the start of the baseball game.

On Sunday, Black and Gold Weekend concludes as baseball finishes the series versus Florida at noon and women’s tennis takes on Ole Miss at 1 p.m.

Tickets for the baseball series are available now. The Black and Gold Spring Game, women’s tennis matches and lacrosse game are all free of charge, as is Vandyville.

The Black and Gold Spring game will feature a select-a-seat event, with fans able to get a first-person look at remaining season ticket inventory inside Vanderbilt Stadium during the game.

Surplus Sale Details

Vanderbilt Athletics will hold a surplus sale in Memorial Gymnasium practice gym April 16 as part of Black and Gold Weekend. The sale will open at 10 a.m. for National Commodore Club members and 11 a.m. for the general public.

The sale will consist of t-shirts, shorts, jackets, jerseys, hats, shoes, cleats and other surplus items from various programs (there will be no baseball jerseys or football helmets available). Items will range from extra small to XXXL in unisex sizes, small to XXL in women’s and shoes from women’s 6 to men’s 18. Prices range from $1-15.

Entry will be at Gate 1 of Memorial Gymnasium (behind the Hawkins Field video board). National Commodore Club members must sign-up in advance (please check your Ticketmaster account email for the sign-up) to take advantage of early admission. Each account is allowed two adults to enter early. National Commodore members will cue towards 25th Aveune, while the line for general admission will run toward Jess Neely Drive.

All sales are final and credit/debit cards are preferred for transactions.
