  • The Vanderbilt lacrosse team begins a stretch of three-consecutive home games with a Wednesday matchup versus Mercer at the Vanderbilt Lacrosse Complex.
  • Wednesday’s game will be the first-ever meeting between Vanderbilt and Mercer.
  • Last time out, Vanderbilt – then ranked No. 25 – was handed a 17-6 loss at No. 1 North Carolina on Saturday.
  • Elizabeth Scarrone earned American Athletic Conference Attack Player of the Week on Monday thanks to a combined seven goals in her last two outings. In the win over Central Michigan, the senior went off for a career-high five goals. She followed up with two more goals at No. 1 North Carolina.
  • In the North Carolina game, Bri Gross recorded her 100th career draw control. She is the 11th player in program history to reach that plateau.
  • Sophomore goalkeeper Paige Gunning’s 46 saves are the most in the nation. She is currently tied for sixth among NCAA Division I goalkeepers with 11.5 saves per game.
  • Vanderbilt’s two losses this season have come at the hands of No. 1 North Carolina and No. 2 Notre Dame.
  • The Dores are 2-0 at home this season and 10-5 in Nashville under third-year head coach Beth Hewitt.
