NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The Vanderbilt soccer team hasn’t prepared for a match since March when it was scheduled to play one of two spring exhibition contests.
But because of the global pandemic caused by COVID-19, the Commodores never got to play that match and have been waiting to take the field ever since.
“It’s the strangest time I’ve had in my career,” Vanderbilt head coach Darren Ambrose told The Hustler.
Vandy is now scheduled to begin the season Sept. 18.
Vanderbilt’s The Hustler recently spoke with Ambrose about the upcoming 2020 season. The entirety of that article can be read HERE.
